At Moss Vale Anglican, we love seeing children and young people grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus. We believe that faith is best nurtured through relationships, God’s Word, and community — so our ministries for kids and youth are designed to help them know, trust, and follow Jesus in everyday life.
From the fun and learning of Sunday Kids to the friendship and faith conversations at The Forge Youth Group, our hope is that every young person would come to understand the goodness of God and the joy of living for Him.
We’re thankful for our dedicated team of leaders who serve with care, creativity, and a genuine heart for discipling the next generation.
All our leaders and helpers have a verified Working With Children Check (WWC), have completed a Safe Ministry Check, and are regularly trained through Safe Ministry programs to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every child.

Sunday Kids
For Kindergarten to Year 6
Children are a vital part of our church family, and we love helping them grow in their understanding of who God is and what it means to follow Jesus.
Kids in Kindy to Year 6 are welcome to join us each Sunday morning at 10:30am in the St John’s building. We usually start with a few fun games (often linked with the day’s theme), followed by singing, Bible teaching, prayer, craft, and activities — and sometimes even food!
After around 45 minutes together, the children rejoin their parents in the Family Gathering in the Moss Vale Anglican Hall, in time to sing the kids’ song for the week.
Our teaching aligns with the sermon series, helping families continue the conversation at home and grow together in faith.
🕥 When: Sundays 10:25–11:15am during school term 📍 Where: St John’s Building, Moss Vale

VINE – Homeschool Community
VINE is a homeschool community and ministry of Moss Vale Anglican Church, created to support and encourage families who are home educating their children.
Many families within our church community homeschool, and VINE has grown out of a desire to walk alongside them while also welcoming and supporting the wider homeschool community across the Southern Highlands and beyond.
VINE meets weekly during school terms on Friday afternoons from 2:30–5:00pm and provides a relaxed, family-centred space for connection, shared learning, skill-sharing, and encouragement. Activities are designed to be multi-age and flexible, supporting children from babies through to teens, while also creating space for parents to connect and build relationships.
VINE is shaped by Christian values and sits within the life of Moss Vale Anglican Church, while remaining open and welcoming to homeschool families from all backgrounds who align with its vision and values.

LiT
Youthworks Leaders in Training (LiT) is an awesome camp for youth in Years 9 – 12 each year. You will meet fantastic friends and have a brilliant time but it’s also pretty hardcore. We are going to push you hard to think about your faith and how you can use your gifts for the glory of God.
The whole week is about growing you as a Christian, as a leader and as a servant of Jesus and His people.
If you love Jesus and are passionate about serving Him with your whole life then Youthworks LiT is definitely for you.
At Moss Vale Anglican Church, we are committed to ensuring that our church is a safe place for everyone — especially children, youth, and vulnerable people.
We require that all leaders who work with children, youth, or any other vulnerable people abide by a Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct outlines the personal behaviour and pastoral practices that help ensure all people are appropriately protected, respected, and cared for.
All our leaders and helpers are required to:
Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) number.
Complete a Safe Ministry Check, including reference checks.
Regularly undertake Safe Ministry Training to maintain awareness and accountability.
We take these steps seriously because we believe every person should experience the love and care of Christ within a safe and trustworthy environment.
Below you’ll find links to our Safe Ministry documents and forms for reference and compliance.
